Why Exchange Server, Outlook and Office?

If you’re doing business with a POP3 (Internet e-mail) account, you:

What is required on my part to use the service?

The server will not handle your Internet email until you provide us with an Inbound Domain and have your DNS server point the MX record of that domain to the Exchange server.

 

Can I use my existing email server with Exchange?

If you wish to permanently use your existing email server concurrently with your new Exchange server, you will need to create a third-level domain. (e.g. mail.yourdomain.com)
