Configuring Outlook Settings (Step 2)

The following steps will guide you through configuring Outlook to connect to your new Exchange Account.

 

  1. Navigate to your control panels.

  2. open the Mail Icon

  3. select view profiles

  4. select ADD new profile

  5. Enter "HOSTLABS" (without quotes)

  6. select ADD new email account

  7. Click Next

  8. select Microsoft Exchange Server

  9. Click Next

  10. Microsoft Exchange Server: exvs01.hostlabs.net

  11. User name = email address

  12. Select More Settings

  13. The next three steps are optional...  

    1. Outlook may time out with "This action could not be completed…"

    2. If so... click OK

    3. Select Cancel

  15. In the next window Microsoft Exchange Server, select the Connections tab

  16. check box Exchange over the Internet

  17. click Exchange Proxy Settings

  18. add URL HTTPS://MAIL.HOSTLABS.NET

  19. check box On Fast networks

  20. check box On Slow networks

  21. drop down window select-Basic Authentication

  22. Click OK

  23. Click OK

  24. Click Check Name….enter username (email address) and Password

  25. The information will underline when configured properly.

  26. Select Next

  27. Click Finish -
